Disney Magic Your Way Tickets & Options

Disney’s Magic Your Way® Tickets can be purchased separately for guests staying offsite or combined with a resort stay to make a package. The ticket options are totally flexible – you can really customize your package to include everything you want and nothing you don’t want. You choose how many days and what entrance options you’d like.

Number of Days
When purchasing tickets separately, you can buy anywhere from a single day ticket up to a 10-day ticket. 2 to 10-day tickets may be added to packages.

Tickets vary in price based depending on when you want to use them. Below is the calendar for 2019 ticket pricing for single day tickets.

Disney has structured their pricing so that the longer you stay, the less you pay each day for your tickets. I’ve assembled a chart below to give you an idea of multi-day ticket pricing. I used 1/28 as the starting day, which is in value season. If you are attending different dates, you’ll have different pricing, but it won’t be too far off of this for 2019

It certainly pays to stay longer. The second day is a little less that the first day, and the third day is a little less than the second day. But when you get to the fourth day and beyond, you’ll see really dramatic price drops. Looking at the chart below you can see what I mean. For example, to go from a 3 day ticket to a 4 day ticket will cost you an additional $81. But to jump from 4 days to 5 days is only $15 – and after that, it’s only another $10 for each day!

Entry Options

The least expensive ticket option is the Base Ticket. This allows you to enter one theme park each day. You may come and go, but you cannot enter another park. If you purchase a single day base ticket, you must choose between a Magic Kingdom ticket (a little more $) and a ticket good for the other three parks (a little less $). If you purchase a multi-day ticket, you do not have to decide in advance which park you will use each day at (but you probably will as you make plans).

If you want a little more flexibility and spontaneity, you can upgrade to a Park Hopper ticket. With the Park Hopper, you can enter any or all of the parks on a single day, as many times as you like. Most of the time, you’ll probably not hop to more than two parks a day – but you can do more if you want. We’ve done all four parks in a day before! To add the Park Hopper option costs $65 for a 1- or 2-day ticket or $75 for a 3- or more day ticket.

You can top that by going with the Park Hopper Plus. This gives you all the flexibility of the Park Hopper, plus a certain number of visits to Disney’s bonus venues: two waterparks – Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon, Oak Trail Golf Course, Fantasia Gardens Mini-Golf, Winter Summerland Mini Golf, and ESPN Wide World of Sports. If you’re going to be in town 5 days or longer, I think this option is a no-brainer. It will only cost you an additional $25. The number of bonus venue entries is equivalent to the number of days of regular park tickets. So a 7 day Park Hopper Plus ticket gives you 7 days worth of regular park days PLUS 7 entries to the bonus venues. You can use those on the same days that you go to the regular parks (i.e. spend the morning at Blizzard Beach and the evening at Magic Kingdom) or you can use them on non-park days.
